Poll officer spot dear in road accident in Assam’s Lakhimpur A terrible road accident has occured in Assam’s Lakhimpur, leaving an election officer dead on the spot. As per inputs, election officer Rajiv Lekharu was returning home from Lakhimpur after completing his poll duty when his vehicle collided head-on with a passenger bus, killing him on the spot. Notably, Rajiv Lekharu was a professor at Bihpuria College.
