Plane Suffers Bird Hit in Guwahati Airport, Air India Express Flight Diverted to Kolkata

The flight was diverted to Kolkata where it landed safely at around 4:10 pm.
Guwahati airport witnessed a tense situation today as an incoming Air India Express flight from Delhi, IX 1067 could not land because the runway was temporarily closed as another plane had suffered a bird hit and was on the runway.
The flight was diverted to Kolkata, where it has landed safely around at 4:10 pm.
Passengers on the flight told Northeast Live that there was a lot of panic as the pilot announced that they were low on fuel and that they were heading to land in Kolkata.
In fact, the passengers said the pilot had also directed the cabin crew to be prepared for an emergency landing.
But the flight safely landed in Kolkata.
