While Manipur was abuzz with the hi-profile celeb wedding of Manipuri beauty, actor and super-model Lin Laishram with Bollywood hunk, actor Randeep Hooda, in neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh, another celebrity wedding was taking place.

Popular Pakistani actor and video jockey, Madiha Imam had a traditional Arunachali wedding with long term friend Moji Basar who hails from Basar in Arunachal Pradesh. Moji-Madiha did tie the knot on May first this year and held a reception in Dubai on October 26, but the couple decided to say their vows one more time in Basar’s home state.

While Lindeep’s wedding was a very closed affair with only immediate family and friends in attendance, Madiha-Moji’s wedding was attended by union minister Kiren Rijiju, Arunachal deputy chief minister Chowna Mein and a host of other top Arunachal government officials and celebrities from Arunachal.

Madiha looked stunning in a pink-hued traditional Arunachali bridal attire called ‘Gale,’. The groom, a film producer by profession, looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo.

Syeda Madiha Imam, who began her career as a VJ before making a mark in the world of acting, has earned acclaim for her performances in TV dramas like Mujhay Vida Kar, Dushman-e-Jaan, and Zakham, along with the 2017 Bollywood film Dear Maya.

Moji Basar is not just a film producer, he is a writer and a singer too. He was the assistant director for “The Sick” (2018) and “Luka Chuppi” (2019), films which were released in Netflix.
