‘Over 20,000 arrested for not possessing ILP’: Mizoram HM

Over 20,000 people have been arrested by the Police across Mizoram since 2015 for violating the Eastern Bengal Frontier Regulation 1873 for entering into State without Inner Line Permit System.

This was informed by State Home Minister Lalchamliana in the State Assembly.
Lalchimliana further informed that over 19,000 people have been pushed back for not possessing Inner Line Permit.
