In a major development, the Assam Rifles in Nagaland has recovered a huge quantity of heavy calibre military-grade weapons, equipment and war-like stores. The huge cache of arms and ammunition has been in the Mon district close to the border with Myanmar.

One individual has been apprehended during the operation and has been handed over to the police for interrogation.
