Oil India Limited Approves Rs 2.5 Crore CSR Grant for Cancer Treatment At Tura Civil Hospital

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has announced that Oil India Limited has approved a Rs 2.5 crore Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant for the Dishayen Foundation. The funds will be utilized to install advanced CO2 diode machines in the Oncology Department of Tura Civil Hospital.
Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Minister highlighted that this contribution will significantly improve cancer care facilities in Garo Hills, enhancing treatment options for patients.
“The CSR support will have a lasting impact on strengthening health infrastructure in the state, especially for cancer patients,” Sangma stated.
He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility across Meghalaya by collaborating with various organizations.
This initiative is seen as a major step towards modernizing medical facilities in the region, ensuring better care and treatment for cancer patients in Garo Hills.
