Rev A Puni asserted that the basic principle of honoring the agreement was not maintained by the Government of India.

The NSCN-IM has accused the Government of India of not honoring the basic principle of an Agreement and of trying to nullify the Framework Agreement signed between the two sides by collaborating with other groups.

Member of the Collective Leadership, NSCN/GPRN Rev A Puni speaking at a program at Mao in Senapati district, asserted that the basic principle of honoring the agreement was not maintained by the Government of India.

He also accused New Delhi of craftily shying away from implementing the agreement by collaborating with self-interest groups and individuals to nullify the Framework Agreement.

He added the Framework Agreement ends with the words “Details and execution plan will be worked out and implemented shortly,” however the Govt of India has failed to keep its commitment made before the world.

He stated the Framework Agreement is the best possible political agreement at the moment and it will be mutually beneficial, honorable, and acceptable for both Nagas and India.
