The Supreme Court has come up with an important directive on the NRC update and exercise.

During the process of filing claims and objections, it has been asked as to whether a claimant who has been excluded from the final draft should be allowed to change the legacy data and submit additional documents.

The Supreme Court having considered the matter has asked the state NRC coordinator Prateek Hajela to submit suggestions to this effect before the court.

Furthermore, Hajela has been directed by the apex court to submit a comprehensive report indicating the feasibility including the time taken and the advantages as well as the disadvantages that may accrue if the above mentioned modification of legacy is permitted.

The next hearing on the crucial matter is scheduled for September 5, 2018 at 2 pm.
