The final list of the National Register of Citizens is scheduled to be published on December 31 this year.

While, the second NRC draft got released yesterday, the date for the publication of the final NRC came out later in the evening.

This gives ample time for people left out of the second draft to file claims and objections and get their cases settled with the authorities.

Over 40 lakh people have been left out of the final NRC draft that got released yesterday. Claims and objections are to be filed from August 30 onwards.
