NPP’s Mohendro Rapsang files nomination today

Mohendro Rapsang, joined the National People’s Party (NPP) on December 20

NPP’s Mohendro Rapsang filed his nomination papers today. He is contesting from West Shillong.
He is the sitting MLA of West Shillong.

A former Congress MLA, Mohendro Rapsang is contesting the Meghalaya polls for the 3rd time. He lost in 2013 on a Congress ticket, won in 2018 on a Congress ticket, and this time in 2023 he is contesting on NPP ticket.

His opponents include UDP’s Paul Lyngdoh and BJP Meghalaya president Ernest Mawrie.

Rapsang was accompanied by his son and daughter and wife.
