The event, which is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. today, is significant as it will be the NPF’s big attempt to make a dent in the hill districts of Manipur where the Naga tribes make up a sizeable chunk of voters.
The NPF is looking to make good in districts like Ukhrul, Senapati, Churachandpur, and other hill districts where Naga tribes reside in large numbers.
