There are no dissidents within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP’s) Meghalaya camp. This was claimed by Meghalaya BJP chief Ernest Mawrie speaking exclusively to Northeast Live.

Talking on the matter, Mawrie said that all dissidents within the BJP have already been expelled.

Mawrie’s reaction comes in after one S Thabah, who identified himself as the BJP’s Ri-Bhoi district president claimed that party workers have signed a petition against Mawrie which is to be submitted to the BJP high command in Delhi.
