NIT Silchar students end hunger strike after dean’s removal

After 5 days of agitations, NIT Silchar students have finally called off the indefinite hunger strike following the removal of Professor BK Roy, the Dean Academics.
NIT Silchar Director, Professor Dilip Kumar Baidya fed fruit juice to the agitating students thus officially ending the indefinite hunger strike. The students were convinced with the assurance given by the director and said they want to start on a new page.
