Newly sworn-in Arunachal ministers get their portfolios, DCM Chowna Mein gets Finance, Tax & Excise, Power

Arunachal’s first woman Minister Dasanglu Pul has been allocated Women and Child Development, Cultural Affairs, Science and Technology.

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik, today, on the advice of Chief Minsiter Pema Khandu, allocated the portfolios to the cabinet ministers who were sworn in on June 13.

Deputy CM Chowna Mein has been given Finance, Planning and Investment, Tax and Excise, State Lotteries, Economics and Statistics, Power and Non-Conventional Energy Resources.

Biyuram Waghe, president of Arunahcal BJP, has been given the departments of Health and Family Welfare and Water Resources.

Cabinet Minister Nyato Dukam has been allocated Commerce and Industries, Labour and Employment, Information, Public Relations and Printing.

Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Dairy Development, Fisheries, Food and Civil Supplies, Legal Metrology, Consumer Affairs have been allocated to Gabriel D Wangsu.

Environment and Forests, Geology, Mining and Minerals, Department of Tirap, Changlang and Longding have been handed over to Wangki Lowang.

Pasang Dorjee Sona has been given the department of Education, Rural Works, Parliamentary Affairs, Tourism, Libraries.

Mama Natung has been allocated the department of Home and Inter State Border Affairs; Public Health Engineering and Water Supply, Department of Indigenous Affairs.

Arunachal’s first woman Minister Dasanglu Pul has been allocated Women and Child Development, Cultural Affairs, Science and Technology.

Balo Raja has been handed over the Urban Affairs, Land Management and Civil Aviation.

Lastly, Kento Jini has been given the Law, Legislative and Justice, Social Justice, Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Sports and Youth Affairs.

All departments not assigned to the Deputy Chief Minister and the Cabinet Ministers will be taken care of by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
