The North-Eastern Hill University Students’ Union (NEHUSU) and the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) NEHU Unit have issued a strong appeal to all teaching staff, urging them to boycott any meetings, directives, or decisions presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prabha Shankar Shukla. The student bodies have made it clear that any faculty member who chooses to defy this appeal will be seen as acting against the collective interests of the NEHU student community. The call for non-cooperation underscores growing discontent and intensifies the standoff between the students and the university administration.
