Nations celebrates 150th Gandhi Jayanti today. People at different parts of the country are observing Gandhi Jayanti with much enthusiasm and zeal.

Many programs are being organized in the schools and colleges across the country including the Northeast to observe the special occasion.

Meanwhile, Ahead of Gandhi Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan’ to commemorate the Father of the Nation’s 150th birthday.

The “cleanliness is service” campaign will continue till today, with Modi asking people to dedicate themselves to fulfilling the father of the nation’s dream of a clean India.
