Nagaland on Monday reported its first cases of COVID-19 as three persons tested positive for the deadly virus. One from Kohima and 2 others from Dimapur have tested positive. It
Nagaland on Monday reported its first cases of COVID-19 as three persons tested positive for the deadly virus. One from Kohima and 2 others from Dimapur have tested positive.
It may be mentioned, all 3 individuals had returned from Chennai after being stranded for months. Among the fresh cases, 2 are symptomatic while one is asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, the Covid patients are undergoing treatment at DHD and Chedema, Kohima respectively.
Nagaland is the last of the northeastern States after Sikkim to report COVID-19 positive cases.
Although a 33-year-old trader based in Dimapur had earlier tested positive after being referred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in Assam on April 12. The state has not included him in the list of positive cases, after being transferred by Dimapur hospital.
