Nagaland higher education dept offers scholarships: Students can apply online from August 28

Starting from August 28 until October 31, eligible students can apply for scholarships

Nagaland’s Higher Education Department has launched an online scholarship application platform for the academic year 2023-24. Starting from August 28 until October 31, eligible students can apply for scholarships.

The Directorate of Higher Education announced that the online application process is open for two types of scholarships: the Post-Matric Scholarship for ST (Scheduled Tribe) students and the State Merit and Research Scholarship. These scholarships are for the upcoming academic session.

All the necessary guidelines and instructions for each scholarship program will be provided on the common scholarship portal of the state.

  • Only students from approved educational institutions can apply.
  • Schools and colleges can get the necessary form for approval from the official website.
  • New rules state that students can join the scholarship in their first year of studies only.
  • Institutions need to finish the online verification by November 30, 2023.
  • Students studying outside Nagaland and seeking the Post-Matric ST and State Merit scholarships should send their application forms and documents by November 30, 2023.
