Nagaland Govt to hold consultative meet: Dy CM Y Patton on oil exploration row

Nagaland Government has decided to hold consultative meeting with all the stakeholders of oil bearing areas.
The move follows strong opposition from various quarters including the NSCN-IM and the Working Committee of the 7 NNPGs on oil exploration in the disputed areas along the Assam-Nagaland border. Addressing the media, Nagaland Deputy CM Patton said that the MoU has not been signed yet, and that the Chief Minsiters of Nagaland and Assam have only agreed in principle.
