The Nagaland government has kept ready Rs 180 crore for the development of the education and health sectors under the Development of Under Developed Area (DUDA) department, said Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
CM Rio further informed about the upcoming funding programmes, which would boost people’s per capita income and economy.
Chief Minister Rio stated that discussions on strategies and priorities would be carried out with department heads.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio made these announcements while speaking at the inauguration of Zinki Bailey Bridge at Zinki River on April 28.
According to the Chief Minister, the completion of the bridge would result in widespread improvement for citizens.
Earlier, DUDA executive engineer N Imti Chang provided a technical report and stated that the bridge, which measures 14 feet in width and 160 feet in length, was completed at a cost of Rs. 15 crore.
