The meeting comes at a time when the ENPO has threatened to boycott the parliamentary polls.

The Eastern Nagaland Legislators Union, frontal organisation of the ENPO, will be holding a crucial meeting with Interlocutor AK Mishra in Delhi today.

The meeting comes at a time when the ENPO has threatened to boycott the parliamentary polls.

Following ENPO’s declaration of public emergency, due to Centre’s delay in settling its offer for creation of ‘Frontier Nagaland Territory’, all govt offices including those of Deputy Commissioners in the eastern areas continue to remain shut.

The govt offices have been shut since March 10 and it has been more than 10 days now.

However, Power Department, Medical Emergencies, Fire and Emergency Services, PHED, Banking, Postal Services and Telecommunications have been exempted from shutdown.

Sources said there is no restriction in public movement.

On March 16 also at least 20 members of the ENLU met Mishra in Delhi.
