Mukroh Firing: Assam Govt’s single person enquiry comm to begin probe

The committee formed by the Assam government to probe intro the Mukroh firing incident will begin its work today.
The one person committee consisting of retired Gauhati High Court judge Rumi Kumari Phukan will be visiting the spot near the Assam-Meghalaya border to probe the incident. Yesterday, Phukan was at Dokmoka where she met officials of police, forest department and various local organisations.
