The Meghalaya Cabinet today approved the minimum and maximum age limit for recruitment into four departments of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Excise, Registration, Taxation and Stamps, Forest and Environment, and Home department. While the minimum age in these cases is between the range of 18 to 21 years, the upper age limit for various departments has been fixed between 27 to 32 years.
