Mizoram jail break: 3 women escape from Central Jail for Women

In a jail break incident, three women inmates escaped from the Central Jail for Women in Aizawl on Thursday morning. The escapees were serving sentences in connection with drugs trafficking.

The three women were identified as Lalchhanmawii of Tuirial, Aizawl, Lalruatsangi of Thuampui, Aizawl and Niengboi of Churachanpur, Manipur.

According to initial reports, the trio climbed the wall of the jail and fled.
