Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla and several other Congress leaders and party candidates filed their nominations for the November 28 Assembly polls on Thursday.
State Congress president Lal Thanhawla filed his nomination for Serchhip and Champhai South constituencies.
Among the Congress ministers who filed their nominations yesterday were Health Minister Lal Thanzara, Sports Minister Zodint Luanga, Education Minister H Rohluna and Social Welfare Minister PC Lal Thanliana among others.
Apart from these ministers, 10 other Congress candidates also filed their nominations before the Returning Officers of their respective constituencies.
Meanwhile, 10 Mizo National Front candidates, including former Education Minister R Lal-Thang-Liana, also filed their nominations on Thursday.
