Mizoram celebrates Mother’s Day

The Salvation Army and local churches honour mothers with gifts and expressions of gratitude

Today, the entire world came together to celebrate the cherished bond between mothers and children on the occasion of Mother’s Day. Mizoram also joined the global festivities with heartfelt tributes and gestures of appreciation to mothers.

The Salvation Army, hosted a special Mother’s Day celebration where children and youths demonstrated their love and gratitude towards their mothers. The event was brimming with joy and emotions as the young ones presented flowers, gifts, and heartfelt tributes to honor the invaluable role of their mothers.

In a heartwarming display of affection, the children serenaded their mothers with melodious songs and presented special performances dedicated to their unwavering love and support for their moms. The atmosphere at the Salvation Army Church was filled with warmth and gratitude as mothers received tokens of appreciation, including Mother’s Day cards, pens, keychains, and hankies, symbolizing the enduring bond they share with their children.

Mother’s Day celebration speeches on the value and importance of mothers were also held in different churches.
