Meghalaya Cabinet Minister and UDP leader, Kyrmen Shylla while speaking on the recent Lok Sabha elections in Meghalaya, expressed concern over the hate politics which was evident during the campaigns.

Speaking to media, Kyrmen Shylla said that political parties and politicians should not fool people by promising things which cannot be fulfilled.
He also said that the political parties must have mutual respect for each other while campaigning during the elections.
