Meghalaya: Pius Marwein takes oath as member of Legislative Assembly

Newly elected UDP MLA from Ranikor, Pius Marwein took oath as the new member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly today. The oath was administered by State Assembly Speaker Donkupar Roy

Newly elected UDP MLA from Ranikor, Pius Marwein took oath as the new member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly today.

The oath was administered by State Assembly Speaker Donkupar Roy at the old Assembly building in Shillong.

After the oath taking ceremony, Marwein said that Ranikor constituency is lagging behind in developmental activities and his areas of priorities would be road, education and health.

Meanwhile, UDP president Donkupar Roy said that the win of the coalition in the two seats has strengthened the alliance partners.
