Meghalaya Govt again invites HNLC to resume peace talks

Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister in charge of Home, Prestone Tynsong has requested the HNLC to come forward to resume the tripartite talks between the organisation, State Government and the centre.

Following the formation of the new Government at the centre, the Government of Meghalaya has sent out fresh invitations to the proscribed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council, to resume the peace talks.
