Heavy rains triggered massive landsildes near Papu-nallah area in Arunachal Pradesh this morning. These are the dramatic visuals on screen of the landslide that blocked the road in the area.

Heavy rains triggered massive landsildes near Papu-nallah area in Arunachal Pradesh this morning.

These are the dramatic visuals on screen of the landslide that blocked the road in the area. According to Disaster Management field officer Jogam Angu, the restoration work is underway.

The officer informed that as of now the road has been cleared but if incessant rains continue, the road will be blocked again. Police personnel have been deployed to control the traffic. No loss of property or life has been reported so far.

It has been further advised for people to dial the toll free number of the Arunachal Pradesh Disaster Management at 1077 for any kind of help at the time of need during such situations.
