Massive blaze at Fancy Bazar, Kamakazi restaurant gutted

Property worth lakhs has been reduced to ash

A fire broke out at Guwahati’s Fancy Bazar area last night, leaving a trail of destruction in its path.

As per inputs, the fire started from Kamakazi restaurant in the area.

Property worth lakhs has been reduced to ash. No casualties have been reported.

Earlier, on November 14, two incidents of fire were reported from two different locations of Guwahati.

In one incident a flat was turned into ashes in Guwahati’s Panjabari area on Monday night after the flat caught fire because of firecracker splinters falling on the false ceiling of the flat resulting in a massive blaze.

The second incident of fire was reported from the Zoo Road Tiniali area of Guwahati.

On November 26, around 20 shops located at the Borbari Market in Hengerabari locality of Guwahati were reduced to ashes in a devastating fire that broke out past midnight.
