The two men have been fighting for years, but a recent comment by a Meta executive claiming that Twitter was not handled “sanely” upset Mr Musk, prompting the two men to challenge each other to a cage fight.
The two business magnets agreed to the “cage match” face-off in late June.

The owner of social media platform X formerly known as Twitter has hinted at a possible live-stream of his cage fight with Meta owner on X.

“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on 𝕏. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk said in his post on August 6.

While the specifics of the event remain under wraps, the unexpected turn of events has added a new level of suspense and intrigue into the highly publicized showdown between the two tech titans.

Elon Musk in a post on his X platform today said that he will receive an MRI of his neck and upper back on Monday and may require surgery before the fight can happen.

“Exact date is still in flux. I’m getting an MRI of my neck & upper back tomorrow. May require surgery before the fight can happen. Will know this week,” his port read.

He previously said he “might need an operation to strengthen the titanium plate holding my C5/C6 vertebrae together.”

Zuckerberg on the other hand said that he suggested August 26 for the match and he’s still awaiting confirmation.

“”I’m ready today,” he said. “Not holding my breath,” The Facebook co-founder posted on the Threads app on Sunday.

Musk’s disclosure about potential surgery has raised the stakes and the suspense around the event, leading to an air of anticipation.
