Gills of the Giant Oceanic Manta Ray worth over Rs 75 lakh in the international market have been seized by Assam Rifles personnel at the Tengnoupal checkpost in Manipur.
As per reports, the gills weighed about 175 kg and were being transported from Imphal to Moreh Town in a van.
The driver of the van was also arrested and handed over to the Customs Preventive Force in Moreh, along with the gills.
