A man’s desire to have a picture perfect smile ahead of his wedding has turned into a nightmare and he ended up paying the price with his life in Hyderabad.

Groom-to-be 28-year-old Laxmi Narayana Vinjam Laxmi Narayana was to get married next month.

He wanted to have a picture perfect smile before his marriage, and decided to undergo the ‘smile designing’ procedure to enhance his smile last week.

On February 16, Laxmi Narayana Vinjam undergone the ‘smile designing’ procedure at the FMS International Dental Clinic in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills.

He was given anesthesia and taken into the operation theatre and the procedure went on for almost two hours. After Laxmi Narayana Vinjam fainted during the surgery, the staff of the clinic called his father Ramulu Vinjam to the clinic and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Laxmi Narayana Vinjam’s father has alleged that he died of anesthesia overdose.

He said that his son had no health issues and that the doctors are responsible for his death.

His body has been sent for autopsy and a case has been filed against the clinic for negligence after his family filed a complaint.
