Manipur Viral Video: Total five arrested so far

In the case of two women being paraded naked in Manipur, the Manipur police have arrested one more person, bringing the total number of arrests to five. According to sources, 11 others identified by police.
The accused has been identified as Yumlembam Meitei, a 19-year-old.
The incident, which came to light after a two-month-old video went viral, had sparked global outrage. Four have already been made since the video went viral on July 19.
A massive manhunt is currently underway to locate a dozen other suspects who can be seen in the viral video. Chief Minister N Biren Singh has taken personal interest in monitoring the search operations, emphasizing the government’s commitment to bringing all those responsible to justice.
The first arrest was made the day the video surfaced, July 19. The key accused, identified as Huriem Heradas, aged 32, was arrested from Thoubal district. The police were able to identify and track him down with the help of the video, in which he was seen wearing a green T-shirt at the time of the incident.
