The Manipur Police retrieved a hand grenade inside the A S Brick Field Compound in Khongjom area under the Thoubal district, at 7:30 AM today morning.
The hand grenade was found along with an extortion note that was written in a local Manipuri dialect by unknown miscreants.
It may be mentioned that the grenade was first spotted by a group of workers who then immediately reported the matter to the police authorities.
