Manipur HS results 2024 out, 97.63% student pass braving all odds in strife-torn state

The pass percentage in the Science stream is 98.91 percent, while for the Commerce stream, it is 93.51 percent and for the Arts stream it is 94.35 percent.

Higher secondary students in Manipur have created history braving all odds. 97.63 percent of students made the cut in the Higher Secondary final examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) this year.

The pass percentage in the Science stream is 98.91 percent, while for the Commerce stream, it is 93.51 percent and for the Arts stream it is 94.35 percent.

Malemnganbi Laishram from Comet School, Changangei is the Science topper scoring 493 marks out of 500.Yumnam Khenika Devi of the same school secured the second position with 491 marks, and the third position was secured by Mayanglambam Sania Devi of Pine Wood View School, Langol.

Aiena Naorem of the Kakching Higher Secondary School, Kakching is the Commerce topper scoring 447 marks. Kethallina Maisnam of T.G. Higher Secondary School, Imphal secured the second position with 438 marks while, the third position is held by Longjam Aman Singh of Sdjm Higher Secondary School, Paona Bazar.

Thokchom Sheityajit from the Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham topped the Arts stream with 477 marks.

The second position is held by Sapam Langlel Chanu of the T.G. Higher Secondary School, Imphal and Khaidem Niranda Devi of the same school secured the second position scoring 474 marks.

Jenita Longjam of the Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School, Sangakpham secured the third position securing 472 marks.

A total of 31,128 students appeared in the Higher Secondary examination held between February 21 and March 23, 2024, in a pen-paper mode.
