The state government has issued an order to suspend internet services across the state citing that anti-social elements were allegedly using the social media extensively to transmit hate video messages
The state government has issued an order to suspend internet services across the state citing that anti-social elements were allegedly using the social media extensively to transmit hate video messages to incite the passions of the public.
The order further said that the social media has become a handy tool for rumour mongers to incite the general public, which might have serious repercussions for the the law and order situation in Manipur.
