Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday felicitated Captain Soiba Maningba Rangnamei at his official residence in Imphal for showing exemplary courage during the clashes with troopers of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China at the Galwan Valley last year.
Captain Soiba Maningba Rangnamei of 16 Bihar Regiment of the Indian Army hails from Manipur’s Senapati district.
Captain SM Rangnamei led his men bravely during the clashes with the Chinese PLA troopers at the Galwan Valley last year.
Expressing his gratitude towards Captain SM Rangnamei, the chief minister said that it’s an honour to meet Captain Soiba Maningba Rangnamei and the people of the nation are always indebted to soldiers like him who is leading in the front for the safety and security of the Nation.
Lauding the efforts of the Captain, the Chief Minister stated that he always encourages the youths to join the armed forces and participate in safeguarding the nation.
