The Manipur BJP is gearing up ahead of the state assembly elections likely to be held early next year. Party national general secretary BL Santosh is camping in the state to overview the party’s preparedness for the elections.
Speaking to Northeast Live, State Chief Minister N Biren Singh termed the BJP central leader’s visit to the state as historic. Biren Singh also said that the main focus of the party is to bridge the gap between the government and the people.
Besides, N Biren Singh added that it was an immense opportunity for every party worker including him to learn about the dynamics during deliberations with BL Santosh.
The Manipur Chief Minister without divulging much, added that deliberations on the impending elections also topped the agenda during BL Santosh’s visit.

He also extend his sincere gratitude towards the central BJP leaders for first time appointment of a lady state unit President which clearly shows BJP’S Women Empowerment. Singh further indicated that more women candidate will be seen in the 2022 State assembly elections.
