First Published: 20th September, 2023 18:07 IST

CCI has pledged to continue this distribution until all 29 relief centres have been covered

The Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) has taken an initiative of distributing sanitary pads and garments in 29 relief camps. Over 2000 items have been distributed so far, benefiting the women residents of five relief centres.

The CCI has pledged to continue this distribution until all 29 relief centres have been covered.

These essential items were donated by members of the church, particularly those belonging to the Evangelical Baptist Bangali congregation.

Their contributions have made a significant difference in providing much-needed support to those residing in relief camps.

The employees of CCI provided detailed guidance on how to use the sanitary pads, ensuring that beneficiaries have the information they need to maintain proper hygiene.

It is to mention that the internally displaced individuals taking shelter on the outskirts of the area have not been able to access these benefits.
