Expelled Manipur BJP’s chief spokesperson Ch Bijoy Singh has called the N Biren Singh led government as corrupt and highly mismanaged.
Bijoy Singh was expelled from the BJP’s primary membership for a period of six year with immediate effect. The party’s official notice signed by Manipur BJP chief A. Sharda Devi cited that Bijoy Singh was expelled for violating the party’s rules and discipline.
Talking exclusively to our colleague Sharat Chandra, Ch Bijoy Singh, who was the saffron party’s chief spokesperson in Manipur, called the N Biren Singh government a corrupt and mismanaged entity. He further said that BJP is no longer the party that was founded by stalwarts like Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani. He said that the new blood within the party ranks have changed everything and old-timers like him have been pushed out.
The former BJP chief spokesperson had said that he would not be supporting the BJP candidate for Uripok seat, Kh Raghumani Singh, and had even said that he would press NOTA in the EVM during polling. On this, Bijoy Singh said that he had not indulged in any anti-party activity by making such a statement. He even said that he would not go to any of the central BJP leaders like Sambit Patra or Bhupendra Yadav for appeal as he has no respect for them.
