Major reshuffle ahead of Arunachal Assembly polls, Itanagar DC replaced

Ahead of the simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, the Arunachal Pradesh government on Monday ordered transfer and posting of 7 civil servants, including five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and two Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service (APCS) officers with immediate effect.
Among the notable changes, Talo Potom, DC, Itanagar Capital Region, has been appointed as the Chief Estate Officer (CEO) and Nodal Officer for National Highway 415 packages B & C. While, Shweta Nagarkoti, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, is set to assume the role of Deputy Commissioner for the Capital Region of Itanagar.
In addition appointments, Changlang Deputy Commissioner Sunny Kumar Singh, IAS (2018) posted as DC in Kra-Daadi district, while Vishal Sah, IAS (2019) posted as Deputy Commissioner in Changlang, replacing Singh, the order said.
Ira Singal, an IAS officer, will serve as Tirap DC. Furthermore, Hento Karga, an APCS (AG) officer, is slated to take charge as the Commissioner of Tirap District. Nighee Bengia, an APCS (AG) officer, who had been serving as Deputy Commissioner in Kra-District ordered to report Chief Secretary.
Chief Secretary Dharmendra, in an order issued, said in the interest of public service, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh is pleased to order transfer and re-allocation of charges of the following IAS/ APSC officers, with immediate effect and until further orders.
