Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu is all set to arrive in Mizoram today on a two-day long state visit.

The Vice President is scheduled to attend various functions and also address the ongoing budget session of the State Assembly.

As per the official itinerary, Vice President Naidu would be arriving at the Lengpui Airport at 10:45 am from where he would go on to the Raj Bhawan and would be formally joined by Governor Kambhampati Hari Babu and Chief Minister Zoramthanga.

The Vice President is scheduled several programmes and events during the course of his two-day long visit.

The highlight of Naidu’s visit would be his scheduled address to the State Assembly which is to take place tomorrow.

Vice President Naidu would be addressing the Mizoram Assembly where the budget session is currently undergoing.

On Friday, the Vice President is slated to go to Sikkim from Mizoram.

VP Naidu will be visiting Sikkim for two days.

During his visit to the state, he will be laying the foundation stone for Sikkim State University at Temi Tarku South Sikkim.
