Sunniva Hofstad is a Norwegian boxer, who qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 riding high on three consecutive victories over three boxers in the World Olympic Boxing Qualifier in March 2024.

This will be the first time Sunniva Hofstad will be playing against Lovlina Borgohain.

Hofstad has won several gold and silver medals in the past two years, and she is considered to be a strong medal contender at Paris 2024.

Lovlina’s Bag of Medals So Far

Boxing experts consider Lovlina Borgohain, the girl from Baramukhia village near Barpathar in the Golaghat district of Assam as a strong Gold Medal contender, whose game is at the top.

Lovlina Borgohain’s medal closet includes a gold medal winner at 2023 World Championships and bronze medals at the 2018 and 2019 editions of World Championships.

She is also a bronze medal winner at the 2022 Asian Games, gold medallist at 2022 Asian Championships and bronze medallist at the 2017 and 2021 editions of the competition.

Li Qian has beaten the eighth-seeded Lovlina Borgohain in the Asian Games gold medal match in 2022.
