Lord Hanuman, a divine figure in Indian culture and a prominent deity in Hinduism, has been chosen as the official mascot for the Asian Athletics Championships 2023. The event is scheduled to take place in Bangkok from July 12 to 16.

The selection of Lord Hanuman as the event’s mascot stems from his legendary qualities, encompassing unparalleled speed, strength, courage, and wisdom, all of which are believed to be his divine attributes.
