A Kerala college student was arrested for allegedly burning her roommate’s hand with a hot iron box and sprinkling chili powder on her wounds.

Police said the accused, Lohitha, a final year student of the College of Agriculture at Vellayani in Thiruvananthapuram, and her roommate hailed from Andhra Pradesh.
