Justice Ranjan Gogoi is all set to take over as the new Chief Justice of India on October 3. Gogoi’s name has been recommended for the post by Chief Justice
Justice Ranjan Gogoi is all set to take over as the new Chief Justice of India on October 3.
Gogoi’s name has been recommended for the post by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra to the Government.
Justice Gogoi is expected to take oath on October 3. He is slated to retire on November 17 next year.
Ranjan Gogoi is from Assam and he headed the special branch that is monitoring the updation of NRC.
