While the rest of the country is celebrating Eid with much merriment and high spirits, violence in Srinagar city marred the celebrations of Eid-Al-Adha in Jammu and Kashmir today.
Stone-pelters took to the streets, waved flags of both Pakistan and terrorist outfit Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Peace was disrupted as demonstrators raised pro-ISIS slogans and clashed with police personnel in Srinagar’s Eidgah area.
In another incident, a policeman was shot dead by terrorists outside an Eidgah in Kulgam’s Zazripora. The victim was shot when he was leaving after offering prayers.
