In yet another milestone for the nation, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched its heaviest rocket GSLV MK III-D2 on Wednesday evening from second launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikotta in Andhra Pradesh.
The countdown began at 2:50 pm on Tuesday and the rocket was launched at its scheduled time of 5.08 pm.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch GSLV Mk III-D2 carrying communication satellite GSAT-29 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 5:08 PM IST on Wednesday.

The GSAT-29 is the 33rd communications satellite made by India, the advanced communications satellite weighs 3,423 kg and is expected to further enhance high speed connectivity particularly in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir and northern region of the country
